My Beloved Grandfather ღ

John was the beloved Son of William and Elizabeth Hunter Leach who was born in 1864 and passed away in 1921 in Claiborne County, TN.

He was married to Ella Ann Brooks, August, fourth of 1885. They had eleven children, one being my daddy, Ed. The other children are James Robert, Warren, Lonnie, Elmer, Hughie, Jefferson, Della, Cora, Florida & Lottie. They made their home in Flat Hollow in Claiborne County.

John was a deacon at Davis Creek Baptist Church in Speedwell. My dad was only around 14 years old when his dad died, so we do not know a lot about his life, but heard enough to know he was a wonderful man.

My daddy thought he died from a kidney ailment.

As of 2-1990 John, Ella & all their children are deceased. My daddy was the last one to go. God bless my family. Known as John C., not ( J C )

This beloved grandfather I never knew, but am excited at the coming joy of one day hugging by dear papaw Leach.
