Ella was the daughter of Thomas and Catherine Brooks, who was born in 1872 and died sept. 9-1959. She married John C. Leach, August, 4-1889. They had 11 children 7 sons and 4 daughters. Their daughter Della perished in a house fire at age 19, the other children all grew up and raised families of their own. She was widowed at a young age and had to raise her children alone.

Ella's parents were: Thomas and Catherine {Brooks} Brooks
Married: 1847 and had 8 children.

Thomas parents were: George Washington Brooks and Elizabeth Nevilles Brooks.

Catherine's parents were: Armstead Brooks and Nancy {Harrison} Brooks.
