Cecil was the wife of my Uncle Lonie Leach, her obituary was taken from the archives of the Monroe Evening News.

Mrs.Cecil Mae Leach 89, a resident of
Beach Nursing Home since October, 1987, died at
8 p.m. Sunday in Mercy Memorial Hospital. She had been seriously ill for about six months. Friends may call from noon to 9 p.m. Tuesday and until 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in the Bennett Funeral Home. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the First Freewill Baptist Church with the Rev. James Robinson officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery. Born Dec. 21, 1901, in Middlesboro, Ky., she was the daughter of Joseph and Mary M. (Hunter) Dummitt her husband, Lonnie T. Leach, died in 1956. She then married Raydon Green in 1979. He died in 1983.
She came to Monroe in 1929 from Tennessee. She was a member of the First Freewill Baptist Church.
Surviving are a son, Floyd Leach of Newport; a daughter, Mrs. Jay B. (Maude) Wilson of Monroe; 17 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
She also was preceded in death by two daughters, two grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and two brothers.
Memorials may be made to the Leukemia Foundation.
