Born May 18, 1948 in Monroe, Leroy was the son of Elmer and Minnie (Ellison) Leach. He married Beth Trouten on May 14, 1984.
An avid outdoorsman, Leroy enjoyed rabbit hunting, deer hunting, and trapping turtles. He loved to cook for family gatherings and especially loved spoiling his grandchildren.
Leroy ran the car wash in the Orchard East for over 28 years.
Leroy was preceded in death by his parents, and infant daughter Stacey Lynn Leach.
