Clyde Monday, 40, formerly of Speedwell, died Friday in Monroe, Mich.
Survivors include mother, Mrs. Florida Shupe, Speedwell; brothers, Herman of Jamestown, Oscar of Middlesboro, Boyd and Harvey of Speedwell, Gideon, Roland, Aaron and Carl of Monroe, Carson of the U.S. Air Force; sisters, Mrs. Emma Goins of LaFollette, Mrs. Melveda Marlowe of Monroe, Mrs. Maggie Smith of Exel, Ky.
Funeral services were held Monday at the Speedwell Academy Church with the Rev. Arthur Hill officiating. Burial was in Monday Cemetery. Roach Mortuary was in charge.
