Emanuel Grubb Jr(D2-10) (December 10, 1729 - August 8, 1799) was a farmer who owned some of his father's lands near Grubb's Landing. He also purchased numerous other tracts in Brandywine Hundred including the Grubb Flour Mill. In 1755 during the French and Indian War, he was commissioned a Captain in the Upper Regiment, New Castle County militia and also served as a captain in the New Castle County militia during the Revolution. On August 16, 1751, he married Ann Ford (October 1, 1735 - August 13, 1803) daughter of William Ford and Ann Baldwin of Brandywine Hundred.
Emanuel Jr and Ann had nine children:

- Susannah b. 11 Jun 1756
- Joseph b. 17 Nov 1758
- Thomas b. 23 Sep 1763
- Peter b. 30 Mar 1766
- James b. 25 Jun 1768 - d. 4 Apr 1827
- Nicholas b. 25 Jul 1770
- William Ford b. 13 Feb 1773 - d. 30 Jul 1849
- stillborn infant
