John Baldwin Adamson and his wife Lucy (they both had wives named Lucy) are my 5th great-grandparents and John Baldwin Adamson died in 1744 and the inventory of his personal estate is on record in Annapolis, Maryland.
Captain John Adamson was a very wealthy land owner, and he died in 1782. He and his wife had three daughters: Sarah Adamson who married a Johnson; Rachel Adamson who married William Tannehill; and Rebecca Adamson who married Richard Beall, son of Ninian Beall, Jr., of the famous Ninian Beall family of Maryland.
