He was born in Springfield, Ohio, son of Patricia Decker Gearhart and the late John H. Clifford Sr.
Surviving are his wife, Crystal (Coble); his mother of Duncansville; two sons: Michael and Joshua; two grandchildren; and six siblings: Twila Briggs, Kathryn Bryant, Roger, Wayne and Dwayne Clifford and Tony Gearhart.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Darlene Smith, after 28 years of marriage.
He was a U.S. Army veteran.
Friends will be received from 2 until the 3 p.m. memorial service Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012, at Altoona Bible Church.
