Ann was the daughter of Ann Missouri Kesler and Caleb Anderson Sharpe. Research and personal knowledge affirms that she married four times, the first to Harold Lashmit on 16 April 1949 in Davidson County, North Carolina. One son was born into that marriage before they divorced on 24 August 1959.
Ann then married Donald Berrier, a union that also ended in divorce.
Ann married Air Force Sergeant Earl O. Key on 16 April 1965 in Alexandria, Virginia. She accompanied him to Zweibrucken AB, Germany, during a military tour (1967-1970), and then to Riverside, California, where they divorced.
She later married William A. Johnson on 2 May 1971 in Los Angeles, California. Bill worked in the music industry, was composer and arranger and an ASCAP member.
There were no children from the three latter marriages.
