ROSEDALE — Allen B. Dailey Sr., 69, of Rosedale, passed away at 5:26 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 15, 2012, at Union Hospital Clinton. He was born March 29, 1943, in Terre Haute, to Raymond and Marie Featherstone Dailey. He was a retired Millwright.

He was a member of William Penn Lodge 727 Free & Accepted Masons, Scottish Rite Valley of Terre Haute, was an avid NASCAR fan and loved to play Bluegrass banjo music.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Mary Dailey; and a brother, Benjamin Dailey.

He is survived by his children, Allen Dailey Jr., Bart and Elizabeth Dailey, Kelly Dailey and her friend Frank Prouse, Kevin Dailey, and Erin and Chip Kilzer; a brother, Ramon Dailey: nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. today at Frist Funeral Home, in Clinton. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Ray Leach officiating. Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Park in Terre Haute. Online condolences can be made at: www.fristfuneralhome.com
