Sally Ray Compton, 61, of Fayetteville Died April 2 at the Fayetteville hospital. She born Oct. 14, 1928, in Judsonia, the daughter of W.E. and Mabel Harmon Chastain. She was a homemaker and a member of Trinity United Methodist Church of Fayetteville. She had lived in the area since 1965.
Survivors include her husband, W.L.(Bill) Compton of the home; one son,Lawrence R. Compton of Fayetteville;Two daughter, Carol Lancaster of Richmond, Va., and Judy Rankin of Austin, Texas; two brothers, John Chastain and Frank Chastain, both ofHutchinson, Kan.; and seven grand-
children.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday At Trinity United Methodist Church with Dr. Arvest Lawson officiating. Burial will be in Bluff Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m.Today at Moore's Chapel of Fayetteville.
Pallbearers will be Wes Holt, JamesL. Strange, Kenneth McKee, Delford Fine, James D. Clark and Wallie Ingalls.
