Sarah was the daughter of Peter Putman and Sarah Elizabeth Neiferd. She married Andrew Agler and Albert W. Hurraw.

AGED VAN WERT RESIDENT DEAD - Mrs. Sarah Agler-Hurraw Died at 80; Funeral Services Friday
Mrs. Sarah Agler-Hurraw, 80, lifelong resident of Van Wert County, died Wednesday at her home on West Crawford Street. Mrs. Hurraw had been in failing health since suffering a hip fracture three years ago. The deceased was born September 16, 1860, and was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Peter Putman of Liberty Township. She was a member of the First United Brethren Church for 50 years. Surviving are one daughter, Myra Murphy, at home, two step-sons, Louis Agler of Ohio City and Peter Agler of Fort Wayne; a brother, Willis Putman of Ohio City; and a sister, Mrs. Clara Hartzog of Celina. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the family home. Gamblie & Alspach Funeral Home is in charge. Rev. V.I. Sullivan, pastor of the First U.B. Church, will officiate. Friends may view the body at the home. Interment will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery [sic].
