Edna Morgan Hinton White, 77, widow of Howard White, died Friday, Jan. 23, 2009, at Savannah Heights Nursing Home.
Born in Greenwood [SC], she was a daughter of the Late Richard [Pinklin] Morgan and Martha [Jane] Blanken.
She was retired from Monsanto and was of the Church of God faith.
She was twice married, first to the late Ernest F. [Franklin] Hinton and was predeceased by a daughter Diane Dickerson.
Surviving are a son, Joe Hinton of Greenwood; a sister, Doodle [Ruth "Margie" Finley of AZ; three granddaughters, Angie Salters and Barbara Dickerson, both of Chester and Tammi Hinton of Greenwood; two grandsons, Jamie Dickerson of Chester and Joe Hinton Jr. of Greenwood; seven great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Edgewood Cemetery, with the Rev. Chuck Sprouse officiating.
