Randy E. Dillon, 50, loving and devoted husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend, passed away Dec. 19, 2008, as a result of an ice fishing accident.
He was born Dec. 3, 1958, in Anderson, lived all of his life in this area. He had worked at Dillon Pattern Works since he was in high school.
Randy was an avid fisherman and hunter. He was a member of the Natural Resources Division of Fish and Wildlife, NRA, 3-D Shooters Club, IBO, Pendleton Conservation Club and Meadowbrook Golf Course.
He is survived by his wife, Gaye Dillon; two sons, Ryan E. Dillon and Ronnie E. (wife, Sara) Dillon; mother, Prudy Dillon; one brother, Russ E. (wife, Cindy) Dillon; niece and nephew, Candace and Riley E. Dillon; four stepchildren, Bryan (wife, Pamela) Griffis, Stacey Griffis, Cheryl Griffis and Ashley Griffis; grandchildren, Aric, Sheyenne and Catlin Van Matre, Jason, Danielle and Clifie Griffis and Sara Eller, her Poppa; his fishin' friend, Chris; 3-D buddy, Greg; and special friend, Sean.
Randy was preceded in death by his father, Ronnie E. Dillon, in 2004.
