Donald Alan Simpson, 72 of Baldwinsville, died Tuesday at home. He was born in Auburn. Donald a lifetime Scout, worked as a Scout Executive for The Boy Scouts of America, retiring in 1999 after 24 years. He also worked as a Realtor for Sherlock Homes Real Estate in Auburn. Don volunteered his time for Ss. Peter & John soup kitchen in Auburn and Food Bank of Central New York. Don was predeceased by his parents, Richard Eugene and Jean Warner Simpson; sister, Sharon McLean and a great-grandson.
Survivors: wife, the former Barbara Murray; daughters, Rhonda L. (Doug) Wayman of Cato, Racquel L. (Trevor) Cady of Cato; sons, William C. Simpson of Jordan, Donald A.
