Irene Robinson, age 86, of Cayuga and Apalachin, New York, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Aug. 2, 2014. Predeceased by her parents, Clarence and Leona Hall, and her son, Kenneth. She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Herbert; son, Richard (and Dianne), of Apalachin; son, Donald (and Alene), of Rochester and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a dedicated employee of the Cayuga Post Office prior to retiring, and a longtime member of the Eastern Star and the Cayuga Methodist Church. She was never happier than when she was outdoors working on her flower beds or playing cards at family gatherings or just chit-chatting at home with friends and neighbors.
Funeral services will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Irene can be made to your local Hospice program.
