Born October 21st, 1953 to Donald and Gladys Addy of Genoa, NY, Dixie attended the Southern Cayuga school district before marrying and beginning her family legacy.

A private family funeral service will be held at Shurtleff Funeral Home, Genoa, NY on Wednesday, October 7th, 2015 with a private committal to follow at Bird Cemetery in Locke, NY.

Family and friends are invited to a public memorial service celebrating Dixie's life on Saturday October 10th, 2015 at 10:00 AM to be held at Grace Christian Fellowship, 1250 Fisher Ave, Cortland, NY with a fellowship dinner to follow at West Groton Bible Church in Groton, NY.

In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Ovarian Cancer Charity "Teal There's A Cure" 157 Hancock Dr., Syracuse, NY 13207.
