Willard Lashbrook was born March 4, 1917, in Northfield, the son of Edna and Al Lashbrook. He graduated from the University of Minnesota and was employed as a dairy specialist with Beacon Milling Co. of Cayuga until his retirement in 1982. He was a member of the National Holstein Fresian Association and operated a family-run strawberry business for 30 years.
Lashbrook is survived by five children: Lee Ann Gleason of Penfield, N.Y.; Jean Gilroy of Webster, N.Y.; James of Adamsville, Ohio; Lynn Cacciotti of Beverly Hills, Calif.; and Christopher of Seneca Falls, N.Y.; one sister, Helen Olson of St. Paul; eight grandchildren; and two great-granddaughters.
