BARTHOLOMEW, Elise
Age 106, died July 6 at her home in Galt of natural causes. She was born May 30, 1907 in New Orleans, LA. She lived in Louisiana until 1948, when she went to California. In 1998 she moved to Hot Springs, Arkansas, and in 2009 she moved to Galt. Mrs. Bartholomew was a homemaker who enjoyed being around her grandchildren. She sewed until she was 98 years old, and in her younger days she enjoyed going dancing. She was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church in Sacramento.

She is survived by her sons, Marcus (Eileen) Bartholomew of Galt and Kenneth Bartholomew of Alvin, Texas; 9 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and 5 great great-grandchildren.

Services will be Monday, July 15, at St. Rose Catholic Church, 5961 Franklin Blvd., Sacramento, with Msgr. Edward T. Kavanagh officiating. Rosary will be said at 12:00 Noon with Mass at 12:30. Committal will be at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, 6700 21st Ave., Sacramento. Ben Salas Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
