Age 45, died Monday, June 13, 2011 in Pittsfield Township, where she lived. She was born June 8, 1966 in Ann Arbor, MI to Donald and Judy (Rogers) Beehler. Dawn graduated from Milan High School in 1984 and then married Pat Fital. Together they had four children. Dawn drove school bus for the Milan School district and was currently working at Wal-Mart. Her greatest passion besides her children was playing pool. She was known as a pool playing sharpshooter competing in both state and national tournaments. Dawn was a member of the BCA (Billiard Congress of America) and the VNEA (Valley National 8-Ball Association) taking her to the highest level of amateur status, winning numerous multi-state and International championships, including the 2011 VNEA 8-Ball International team championship in Las Vegas this past season. "The billiard community suffered a great loss, because Dawn was not only a great mentor but also a great friend and teammate. She fought as hard on the table as she did in life." In addition to her former husband and best friend, Pat, she is survived by her mother, Judy (Gordon) Parker; children, Stephanie, Sara, Samuel and Sean; and two grandchildren, Gavin and Jaidyn all of Milan; two brothers, David (Randi Sheldon) of Woodhaven, Duane (Cathy) of Brownstown; a sister, Dona Beehler of Columbus, Ohio; stepmother, Geri Beehler of Britton; half-brothers, Erik of Belleville, Tim (Jenna) of Tecumseh; four stepbrothers; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandparents; her father, Donald Beehler; and an infant brother, Tony. Visitation will be held at Ochalek-Stark Funeral Home, Milan on Monday from 4 to 8 p.m., Tuesday 2 to 8 p.m. where funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 22 at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Marble Park Cemetery, Milan.
