Mrs. Ane Marie Nielsen, 78 died December 21, 1961 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Alliance, Nebraska. She was born April 18, 1883 in Poy Sippi, Wis., and had lived in the Alliance area for the past 50 years.

She married the late Niels Nielsen and they lived on a farm west of Alliance from 1911 until his retirement in 1954 when they moved to 618 Big Horn in Alliance. He died in 1957. She was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Ivan Hashman and Mrs. Leonard Behm, both of Alliance, and Mrs. Clifford Dyer of Hemingford; two sons, Hilton of Alliance and Ervin of San Diego, Calif.; by two brothers, Theodore Hansen of Poy Sippi, Wis., and Edward Hansen of Oshkosh, Wis.; and by three sisters, Miss Carrie Hansen and Mrs. George Hansen, both of Poy Sippi, Wis., and Mrs. H. C. Ostergaard of Free port, Ill.; and 13 grandchildren and one great granchild.
