William D. Bedger, 68, Denver R2 near Schoeneck, died at 7:55 p. m. Sunday at the Ephrata Community Hospital after a long illness.
Born in West Cocalico Township, a son of the late Samuel and Rebecca Ditzler Bedger, he was a lifelong resident of the Schoeneck area where he operated a pansy and chrysanthemum farm.
Mr. Bedger was a member of the Bergstrasse Lutheran Church.
Besides his wife, the former Alice S. Hertzog, surviving is a son, Galen E., Denver R2, two granddaughter and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held yesterday in the Roseboro Funeral Home, Denver, with burial in Mellinger's Cemetery near Schoeneck."
