Luther D Strickler, 70, of 404 Walnut St., Denver, died Sunday, July 3, at 5:15p.m. at the home of his daughter, Julie, wife of Edwards C Dorwart, Lancaster, with whom he had resided for the past three months.
Born in West Cocalico Township, a son of the late Monroe and Lizzie Ditzler Strickler, he retired on disability in 1973 from Walter W Moyer Co., Ephrata.
Surviving in addition to his daughter are two grandchildren; a great grandson; a brother Ralph D Strickler, Ephrata; and a sister, Pauline, wife of Clair B Brooks, Lancaster.
Services were held last Thursday in the Roseboro Funeral Home, Denver, with interment in Fairview Cemetery, Denver.
