Frances is survived by Doris Smith, Vauhn A. Ditzler, Jr, Lois Galucci (Wife of Joseph), Norma J. Kralick, James F. Ditzler, Sr., 20 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
She had worked at RCA Corp. for many years, then was a seamstress until her retirement at 62. She was born in Kirkwood, PA on November 10, 1910. Frances loved bingo, baking, and crocheting.
There will be a church service at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, W. Walnut Street, Lancaster, PA 17603 at 10:30 a.m., May 1, 2009. Frances will be interred at Riverview Cemetery following the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Lancaster County, 685 Good Drive, P.O. Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604. Arrangements entrusted to Auer Cremation Services of Pennsylvania, Inc. (Lancaster Newspapers, 4/19/2009)
