Professional baseball umpire. Colosi umpired in the National League from 1968 to 1982. He began his career in the Florida State League in 1962 and also worked in the South Atlantic League, Southern League, and International League until his major league umpiring debut on Sept. 15, 1968. He became a full-time umpire the following year and by 1970, he was assigned to work in the National League Championship Series, the first of three NLCS he was assigned. Colosi worked the 1971 and 1980 Major League Baseball All-Star Games and the 1975 and 1981 World Series.
