Kaitlyn Sue Harper, 13, of Brooksville, Florida passed away Tuesday, September 9, 2008 in Brooksville. Kaitlyn was born in New Port Richey and moved to Brooksville 10 years ago from Hudson. She was a student at West Hernando Middle School and played softball for the Hernando Youth League. Kaitlyn was a future artist and journalist who tied for 1st Place in arts & drawings and wrote short stories. She very much loved her friends, horses and animals. She was Baptist.
Survivors include her mother, Evelyn Harper-Cannova and her husband Samuel of Brooksville; her father, Allen Harper of Holiday; her maternal grandmother, Juanita Hillerud of Brooksville; her paternal grandmother, Patricia Wojewski of Port Richey; two brothers, Jonathan Maurer and Joshua Harper, both of Brooksville and several uncles, aunts and friends who love her.
