Verna M. (Quier) Klotz, 88, of Lower Saucon Twp., died Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at the home of her granddaughter: Rev. Jennifer K. and her husband Greg A. Bowden. She is the wife of the late Maynard A. Klotz (died Jan. 5, 2003). She was born in Springfield Township on November 16, 1925 to the late William F. and Carrie E. (Buss) Quier. Verna worked at Charles F. Diehl - Pleasant Valley Oil & Heating in various capacities and Surefit, Bethlehem as a seamstress. She is a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church of Springfield Twp., Pleasant Valley. Survivors: Children: Irene G. Moser (John M.) of Gilbert, AZ, Ralph M. Klotz (Alexei Y. Marroquin) of Mesa, AZ; brother: Kenneth W. Quier of Pleasant Valley; grandchildren: Jennifer K. Bowden and her children, Aaron, Nathan & Mikayla, Connie L McGouldrick and her children: Amber and Emily, Wendy A. Moser, Jessica L. Lucas and her children, Sarah and Andrew. Services: Family and friends are invited to call 10 -11 a.m. Saturday, March 29th, 2014 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc. 326 Main Street - Hellertown followed by the service at 11 a.m. The interment will conclude services at Union Cemetery of Hellertown.
