Argentinean painter. Born in Esperanza, Province of Santa Fe, where he undertook his first art studies in the Municipal Liceum of Fine Arts. Awarded a scholarship by National Arts Fund of Buenos Aires, he worked for two years with master Antonio Segui. He studied in London and Paris between 1970 and 1973. With a scholarship granted by the government of Santa Fe, he travelled in the USA and Mexico. In 1989, 1990 and 1991, Borla was elected in the jury of the 6th., 7th. and 8th. Children Drawing Competition organized by Bayer, Buenos Aires. In 1991, Borla was one of the artists selected to take part in the first exhibition of argentine painting in Hong Kong and in Beijing. Some of Borla´s works are in institutions such as Institute of Hispanic Culture, Madrid. Braniff Collection, Texas University Museum. The Brooklyn Museum, New York.
