A native of Bram, Jean Claret was ordained priest on March 13, 1948. Parish priest of Villepinte for 41 years, between 1969 and his retirement at 89 years of age in 2010, in September of the latter year he entered the Maison de Retraite Béthanie of Carcassonne. Passing away at 95 years of age, he was laid to rest in the family vault at Bram's Cemetery following the celebration of a funeral mass at the Nativité-de-Saint-Jean-Baptiste church of Villepinte on Tuesday, August 25 at 10 hrs.
