Truitt Anderson, age 78, of Clarkesville, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, March 24, 2013, at his residence.
Mr. Anderson was born on November 22, 1934, in Habersham County, Georgia; son of the late George Mance and Rebecca Cash Anderson. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Verdell, Ralph, James, J.R., and Hilyard Anderson; sister, Marcelle Ansley; and grandson, Matthew Anderson.
Mr. Anderson was a retired surveyor from Hubert Lovell Surveying Company with 30 years of service. He was a member of Glade Creek Baptist Church where he served as a deacon.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 27, 2013, at Glade Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Doug Ivie officiating.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 26, 2013, at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, Georgia.
