He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Palm City.
Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Cheryl Cubeta of Palm City; mother, Mary Cubeta of Palm City; and sister, Annette Piwinski of North Miami, FL.
A memorial celebration will begin at 2:30 p.m. Sept. 16 at Immanuel Lutheran Church with Pastor Tom Hartley officiating.
