Well, here's my story and I'm going to stick to it. I don't know exactly where I was born but I had four brothers and sisters. Since I was the runt, I stuck with them.
Then one day we all went to a strange new place. Someone kept picking up my siblings and they disappeared with them. Suddenly someone came and picked me up. This person took me to a grassy place with lots of flowers. Soon a lady appeared and they tried to get me to go in the building (later I found out it was their house) with them. I hid in the flowers, mostly the iris near the house because I was scared of all the new stuff and I wasn't with my siblings anymore.
They finally caught me and brought me inside. The place had water, food and a bed just for me. They kept the door open so I could go in and out. I stayed out a lot for a couple of days (in the iris bed) then spent more time in the house.
There was a pretty, furry girl named Becca there. She was my big sister. I began to like her a lot but she could get bossy. You know how Chihuahuas and girls can be. Put the two together and you have TROUBLE. Anyway she showed me some of the things I could do and we became very close (she was the boss and I was a silly little brother to her. In a week or so, I liked inside more than outside. Eventually the Jack Russell Terrier (terror) part of me kicked in and I ran all over from one end of the house to the other. Mom and I danced sometimes. I'd stand on my back legs and move around.

Eventually, I loved these people and my silly sister, I mean queen Becca. So, I spent the rest of my life with them or as they might say I drove them nuts for over 11 years. I got a unique American Indian name, Heap Big Trouble, and a few other names such as Monkey Butt. But they loved me too and boy, was I spoiled. Slept in the people bed, got lots of treats, sat on pillows in front of the fireplace. Pretty easy life.
The end of my story. Don't know if Mom has more or not.
Mom's comment: Murphy was a very tender hearted guy. He always wanted to help and you could see the love in his eyes as if to say what can I do. When I got out of the shower, there was Murphy trying to help me dry my legs (by licking them). It used to irritate me but now I miss it and my little buddy.

Also, our cousin Bonzo
