We adopted Boo from a Chihuahua Rescue Group when he was approximately six years of age. He became Robert's velcro dog. Dad moved, he moved. Dad went camping, Boo went too. He acted like the spoiled Chihuahua he was. He was never sick. His hearing and sight declined over the past couple of years but he was still active. He was appropriately named because he would just sit and stare. A true Boo Radley. (To Kill a Mockingbird). Sadly, his human dad, Robert, left us 14 Dec. 2020. They are reunited.
He was at least 15 years of age when he refused to eat and had trouble standing. We knew then he was telling us it was time. I wrapped him in a blanket and picked him up. He just knew.
