Mrs. Laura Kloepfer (nee Wilhelm), a life long resident in New Trier township, died May 19, 1940, at the ages of 83 in her home at 953 Spruce Street, Winnetka. Mrs. Kloepfer and her husband, Dennis, had celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary last November 28. Both were born in log cabins in New Trier township, their parents having emigrated from Germany and made thier way to the ouskirst of Chicago by covered wagon. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Kloepfer is survived by her children, Pauline (George) Scully, Benjamin, Albert, Arthur, Martin, William, Edward, Frank, and Raymond. Further survived by 19 grandchildren and 13 grate-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her sons, Urban and Otto.
The funeral will be held at 9:30 am Wednesday from the home to Sacred Heart Church, Winnetka. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
