Myrtle was originally interred at the Sunset Garden of Memories in downtown Las Vegas. However, the owners abandoned the cemetery in the mid-70's. The cemetery records were destroyed by fire and many of the headstones were stolen or vandalized. In 1994, all 117 bodies were reinterred at Palm Valley View Memorial Park. I could not locate accurate birth or death dates for this individual.

————————

Myrtle moved from OK to CA between 1935-1940.

Myrtle married Fred Giese before Oct. 10, 1940. I could not locate their divorce record, but Fred did not list Myrtle as the contact on his 1942 WWII Draft doc.

Myrtle and her sister Ollie worked in an airplane factory near Bakersfield during the war.

Myrtle, Ollie, and their mother Stella were living back in Los Angeles by 1948.

Myrtle then married William Robert House around 1951. They moved to Norwalk, CA and had 2 sons. Her husband Robert died Jan. 2, 1957.

Myrtle then married Loren Brion on Sept. 10, 1957. About 1958, they moved out of the Norwalk home, and her brother-in-law Raymond House moved in.

They moved around some, and Myrtle settled in Las Vegas with her sons. (Unconfirmed if she divorced Loren around 1963-1964, or if they were just separated.)

Myrtle died in March 1968. She was survived by her mother, brother James, and sister Ollie who raised her sons.
