Nora Edith Cotner was born November 9, 1917 in Egger(aka Cherry Hill), Polk County, Mountain Township, Arkansas the daughter of Thomas and Mollie (Bates) Summers. Nora died Tuesday, November 27, 2007 at Clarehouse in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was 90 years of age.
Nora moved to Broken Arrow in 1927. She was married to Paul Nathan Cotner on September 19, 1934 in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death in March of 1977. She was a homemaker and volunteer. She was recognized as the volunteer with the most hours, having volunteered 8600 hours at Franklin Hospital which later became St. Francis of Broken Arrow. She enjoyed needlepoint, crocheting, and gardening. She was a member of the Women's Auxiliary at St. Francis for 30 years and First Christian Church. Memorials may be made to Clarehouse, 7324 E. 49th Pl., Tulsa, OK 74145.
