Wanda was preceded in death by: her parents; her brothers and sisters, Pearl, Owen, Ruby, Otis, Odie, Harris, Nina, Claude, Roy and Cleo. Bill, her husband of alsmot 50 years, died in December, 1995.
*
Wanda suffered from numerous illneses and health problems from the time she was 12 years old, but never complained or displayed any desire for sympathy or special treatment. She always had a smile and words of encouragement for everyone she encountered. Her faith in God outlined and directed her life, and gave her supreme confidence in eternal life. Wanda will be sorely missed by those she leaves behind. We have a heavy burden to keep alive the boundless faith and the wonderful attributes by which we all knew her.
A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m., Tuesday, December 19, at the Brookside Baptist Church, preceded by private graveside service at Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers friends may contribute to the American Diabetes Association or the Brookside Baptist Church Memorial Fund. Service is under the direction of Heath-Griffith Funeral Service, 446-6633. (Tulsa World)
