Mrs. Denkert was born in Germany and came to this country in 1892.
She moved direct to Riverton where she had resided since.
She was a member of the Riverton German Lutheran church.
Besides her husband, she is survived by one son, August Denkert, jr.; four daughters, Mrs. Bertha Wenke, Mrs. Minnie Kiska, Mrs. Emma Sassauer, all of Riverton, and Mrs. Mary Petros, of Dietz, Wyo.

Funeral services for Mrs. Alwine Denkert, wife of August Denkert of Riverton, were held at 1 o'clock yesterday afternoon at the residence and at 2 o'clock at Riverton German Lutheran church. Rev. Mr. Pierce of Chatham officiating. Interment was made in Oak Hill cemetery.
