Rites This P.M. For Holmes Britt
Funeral services for Holmes Britt, large farmer of the Long Branch community, will be conducted from his home at 4:30 p.m. today by Rev. I. P. Hedgpeth, pastor of Long Branch church, assisted by Rev. E. A. Paul. Interment will be in the Britt family cemetery.
Mr. Britt died Sunday at 4:30 p.m. after an 18-months' illness with hardening of the arteries. Surviving are his widow by the 4th marriage; 10 children; 2 half-brothers, A. L. Stone of R. 2 and Richard Britt of Greensboro.
