Lillian was born to Bert and Olive Davis Sheridan. She graduated from Emporia High School and Kansas Tearchers College in Emporia in 1934. She was the secretary at the Topeka Trade School and was assistant treasurer for the Topeka Board of Education. She taught at Highland Park High School before she retired in 1974.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Topeka.
She was a member of the Kansas State Teacher Association, Topeka Retired Teachers Association and Delta Theta Chi and Delta Kappa Gamma sororities.
She married Edwin Maddern in 1936 and was later divorced. She married Loren M. Nuzman on July 28, 1958. He died July 6, 1993. A stepson, John W. Nuzman, died August 13, 1997.
Survivors include a daughter and one stepson. Brother Richard B Sheridan, nine grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchild.
Inurnment will be in Holton Cemetery.
