Arthur H. Nuzman, Frankfort, Kansas passed
away at his home on Friday morning, March
14, 1952 following an illness of several
months.
A native of Soldier,Kansas, Mr.Nuzman came
to Frankfort for seventeen years until he and
Mrs. Nuzman opened the Convalescent Home
in Frankfort ten years ago. More than ten
years ago Mr. Nuzman became the custodian
of the First Methodist Church of Frankfort
and served in that capacity until in December
when failing health forced him to give up the
work he had enjoyed doing.
“Art” possessed a very friendly disposition
and was always ready and willing to do
favors and kind deeds for those in sickness
and misfortune.
Beside his devoted wife, he is survived by
two daughters, Mrs. Delphine Thomas, of
Frankfort, Kansas and Mrs. Lorraine Shaner-
man of Omaha, Nebraska; also six grand-
children; one sister, Mrs. Ruby White, o f
Solider, Kansas and a number of other
relatives and friends.
Reverend Richard Roper held the funeral
services at the First Methodist Church on
Sunday assisted by Reverend C.L. Fike.
Burial was in the Frankfort Cemetery,
Frankfort, Kansas.
