Soldier -- Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Soldier cemetery for Marjorie L. White, 68, Santa Monica, Calif., She died Sunday June 24, 1990 at a Los Angeles hospital. Miss White was director of dietetic interns at Wadsworth Veterans Administration Hospital in Los Angeles 15 years before she retired in 1989. She previously taught two years at the University of New Mexico in Las Cruces, then was a dietician at Christ hospital and Children's hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio, an evaluator for American Dietetic Association and a director of dietetic interns at the VA hospital in Nashville, Tenn.

She was born March 15, 1922 at Soldier, the daughter of Clyde A. and Ruby C. Nuzman White. She was graduated from Soldier high school in 1940 and from Kansas State College of Agriculture in Manhattan in 1944. She received a master's degree in 1953 from Iowa State University at Ames and did graduate work also in 1953 at the University of Wisconsin in Madison.

Miss White was a member of the American Dietetic Association. Survivors include two brothers, Wayne L. White, Topeka and Keith L. White, Soldier. Visitation will be from 7 until 8 p.m. Wednesday at Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Memorial contributions may be made to the United Methodist Church in Soldier.
