Mrs. Mary Nuzman died last Sunday morning, the 26th inst., at the residence of her son-in-law, Mr. John Schroder, after a brief illness. Mrs Nuzman was born in Mecklenburg, Germany, in 1809, her maiden name being Flaskamb, and in 1829 married Mr. Fredrick Nuzman. They sailed in 1854 for America, locating in Indiana, where they lived about five years, coming to Kansas in 1860, locating in Jackson county, where they have lived ever since, up to the time of her death - Mr Nuzman having died a few years ago. Mrs Nuzman leaves a large circle of old-time friends and relatives to mourn her departure.
