`Embry, Betty N., 98, passed away Saturday, October 17, 2009. The Embry family were members of St. James Episcopal Church. A family private service was held at Old Mission Mausoleum. Mrs. Embry attended college at National Park Seminary in Washington D.C. and graduated from the University of Kansas in 1934. She was a member of Pi Beta Phi, the Junior League, Book Club, and Garden Club. Her special interests were music and travel. She enjoyed attending the Wichita Symphony and Music Theater. She is preceded in death by her parents, Frederick and Beulah Nuzman and sister, Martha Cain, and her aunt, Mrs. Henry J. Allen of Wichita. She is survived by her son, Robert; daughter, Jane; grandsons, John and Robert; granddaughter, Beja. Services by Broadway Mortuary. Published in the Wichita Eagle, October 25, 2009.
