Henry Buerkle, 85, 702 S. Prospect St., Champaign, died yesterday at his home.Mr. Buerkle was born September 9, 1896 in Stuttgart, Arkansas to Emanuel and Mary Horn Buerkle.He Married Clemence Henderson on June 24, 1922.Mr. Buerkle was a graduate of the University of Illinois in Chicago and was a pharmacist in West Frankfort for many years.Surviving are his wife; two sons, Dr. Jack Vincent Buerkle of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and William Howard Buerkle of Decatur; two granddaughters; one grandson; one brother Fredrick Buerkle of Granite City and one sister Mary Gray of Westmont.Services will be held Monday afternoon at 2:00 at the Owen’s Funeral Home in Champaign.
