WILLIAM RICHARDSON
William L. Richardson, 85, of 900 Rogers St., died Monday in Boone County Hospital after an illness of several weeks. Mr. Richarson was born Aug. 21, 1887, in Boone County to John T. and Marth Craig Richardson. A retired farmer, he lived in Harg and Deer Park before moving to Columbia in 1962. He married the former Nannie Black on Nov. 8, 1908. She died April 25, 1961. Mr. Richardson married Mrs. Hannah Arnoldia on Jul 8, 1962. He is survived by his widow; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Page, 120 Benton St., and Mrs. Ernest Forbis, 312 Anderson Ave.; a son, Robert G. Richardson, 308 Phyllis Ave.; a stepson, Edgar A. Thomas, Los Almos, N.M.; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Ervin J. Quell, 504 S. William St.; three brothers, Jesse O. Richarson, 109 Aldeah St., Hartley Richardson, 1601 University Ave., Aubrey Richarson, Ada, Okla.; two sisters, Mrs. Rella Carey, 204 S. Ann St., Mrs. Frank Bailey, Walla Walla, Wash.; nine grandchildren, nine step-grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren, a number of nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Olivet Christian Church with the Re. Eldon Drennan officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery. Friends may call at Parker's Chapel after noon today.
