John Schaum, 46, G.N. Enployee In Willmar Dies
John Schaum, age 46, 701 W. 14th Street, Willmar, died early Sunday at the Rice Memorial Hospital in this city from a heart condition. He suffered a heart attack about six weeks ago and since that time had been a patient at the hospital.
Mr. Schaum came to Willmar from St. Paul in 1947 and was engaged as a telephone inspector for the Great Northern railway. He is survived by a son, Craig, now attending the U.S. airforce academy at Denver, and a daughter, Miss Moureen, age 15, a member of the 10th grade at the Willmar school, and one sister, Mrs. Margaret Stromberg of Anoga. Mrs. Schaum died in May 1955. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the First Methodist Church in Willmar with the Rev. Nygeard officiating.
Burial will be made at Fairview Cemetery where Masonic services will be conducted by Sharon Lodge No. 104 AF and AM Willmar.
Friends may call at the Peterson Brothers Chapel until Wednesday noon.
