Elsie Marie Bean, was born February 3, 1922 in Stigler, OK. She went peacefully to our Lord on March 25, 2005. Elsie was retired from Western Electric in Oklahoma City. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Bean, Sr.; loving son, Frank Bean, Jr.; parents: Sadie and Thomas Brewer; 2 brothers: Lawrence and Charlie. She is survived by 4 brothers: Calvin Brewer, Claude Brewer, Willie Brewer, and Richard Brewer; 2 sons: Fred Bean and wife, Beverly, of Midwest City, and Larry Bean and wife, Debbie of Midwest City; A very special daughter-in-law that was like a daughter Vicki Bean Waldrip and her husband, Harry; grandchildren: Tamara Henderson and husband, Perry, Teresa Powell, Frank Bean and wife, Joyce, Robert Bean, David Bean, Heather Bryant and husband, Sean, Jeff Johnston and wife, Cindy, Johnny Field, Jacqueline Colbert and husband, Brian; brother-in-law: Ward Bean and wife, Opal; 18 great grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews. We also want to mention her son, Frank's, best friend, Jess Hicks and wife, Marianne, he was an important link to Frank for Elsie and the entire family. Elsie had so many people that loved her that they are too numerous to mention, but she loved each and everyone, especially Joyce Swafford, Patti Shoopman, Ernie Gill, and Nadine Terrell. The family wants to express our deepest thanks to Vicki Bean Waldrip, we will be forever grateful for your love of Elsie and your help. Special thanks to Dr. Soter and the Wound Care Clinic. Funeral services will be at 2 pm Tuesday March 29th at Our Lord's Bible Church, Reno & Post in Midwest City, under the direction of Ford Funeral Service, with burial to follow at Arlington Memory Gardens. Ford Funeral Service 305 S. Sooner Rd. 677-9990.
