Margaret Harvey, 107, of Springfield, passed away at 3:35 p.m. Thursday, January 2, 2003 at St. Joseph's Home.

Margaret was born January 7, 1895 in Springfield the daughter of Simon and Mary Goggin Shaughnessy. She married James M. Harvey October 14, 1925; he preceded her in death July 14, 1958.

She was a member of Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception and the Altar and Rosary Society. She was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), American Legion, St. Joseph's Home Coterie and Springfield Women's Club.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; two sisters: Anna M. Shaughnessy, Mary Cory; two brothers: Edward and James Shaughnessy.

She is survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great nieces, great-great nephews, great-great-great nieces and great-great-great nephews.

Concelebrated Funeral Mass: Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception with Rev. Msgr. John R. Ossola principal celebrant. Burial: Calvary Cemetery.
