Baseball Pitcher. The older brother of Brooklyn Dodgers pitcher Erv Palica, he won 14 games in 1944 with the Baltimore Orioles. He enlisted in the Army in 1945 and, following the war, returned to baseball as the pitcher of the Oakland Oaks.
